I’m Picture Perfect, gamer turned trophy hunter. I’ll be honest, I’m far from the best gamer out there, I’m definitely not the fastest when it comes to completing a game, but I have fun and I do love the sound of that shiny trophy popping.

I properly got back into gaming during lockdown, when the world went quiet, I found myself booting up my PS4 and diving into worlds like Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Whilst on my GoT journey, I’d reached the end of the story but I wasn’t ready to put the game down, I wanted more time with it and somewhere between chasing foxes, hunting down hot springs and clearing enemy camps, the satisfying ding of that final trophy pinged, and the platinum bug bit me hard.

For me, I’ve realised it’s not just about ticking off trophies; it’s about the journey and the stories behind them. It’s those moments that make you laugh or cry, the challenges that make you rage-quit (yeah, been there… more times than I’d like to admit), or the quiet celebrations at 2 a.m. when that impossible task finally clicks and all those mindless hours of grinding pay off.
