Setting the Scene
The Climb: Trophies and Discoveries
Chapter 1: Daymark

Chapter 2–6: The Climb Continues
It never felt repetitive. Each biome introduced new twists, and the story told through Bianca’s journal entries and letters kept me curious. I loved how environmental storytelling did the heavy lifting.
Trophy-wise, Jusant is a very approachable platinum. The collectables are easy enough to track down, and exploring naturally nets you most of them on the first go.

I took my time (a bit more than most guides suggest, 11 hours versus the recommended 4), partly because I loved exploring every nook and wanted to find most of the collectibles myself and partly because I wasn’t in any rush.
No worries if you miss anything, either, as finishing the game unlocks chapter select. Each chapter gives the stats of what you can find and what you’re missing. So with a guide, it’s very quick and easy to clean up each chapter.
The Final Ascent

The platinum popped for me right after listening to the final shell, a quiet and peaceful moment, made more beautiful by that satisfying platinum chim.
Trophy Tips & Time Savers
- Collectibles: Nothing is missable and everything can be tracked and obtained via chapter select, so just explore and enjoy the game, you’ll get most of these naturally anyway.
- Movement trophies: “Acrobat” (200 jumps) and “Fresh Air” (restore stamina 50 times) will likely come without trying, but if not, just replay a section with long climbs.
- Chapter 6 trophies: There are trophies tied to this end chapter, “Awakened Memory” and “A Faint Glimmer” but if you miss them in your first playthrough, dont worry you can get them quickly in a replay right at the start of the chapter.
- Cairns & Altars: If you lose track, these are the easiest to spot via exploration. Cairns often sit slightly off-path on small ledges.
- Hug your ballast: Yes, there’s a trophy for it. Do it 20 times for “Restored Connection.” Wholesome and well worth the few seconds each time.
Final Thoughts
Jusant is more than just a climbing game; it’s about persistence, connection, and finding beauty in solitude. It’s one of those games that reminds you it’s okay to slow down, that exploration can be its own reward, and sometimes the best stories are the ones told in the spaces between.
Would I recommend Jusant?
Would I recommend the Platinum chase?
