PS Plus Extra
Grand Theft Auto V (PS5 | PS4)
The legendary open-world crime sandbox lands in the PS Plus Catalog again .. if you haven’t played this by now, then seriously, where have you been the last 12 years?
- Trophies: 78 (1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 15 Silver, 59 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 4/10
- Playthroughs: 1
- Time to Platinum: 200+ hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles
Trophy-wise, GTA V is not for the faint-hearted, it’s not a particularly difficult trophy list, but it is massively time-consuming. The platinum for both the PS4 and PS5 versions are ultra rare (2.02% and 4.92% respectively). The story trophies are straightforward enough, but there are some missables and several grindy and collectible related trophies. Then there is the multiplayer, the real challenge lies in the online grind, reaching Rank 100, completing heists, and chasing extremely time-consuming requirements.
If you’re after a long-term project, this is your heavyweight pick for this month.

Red Dead Redemption (PS5 | PS4) — Available December 2nd
Pacific Drive (PS5)
A supernatural driving survival game where your car is your lifeline. Explore strange anomalies, repair your vehicle, and survive the bizarre Pacific Northwest. Think cosy horror meets road-trip simulator.
- Trophies: 50 (1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 5 Silver, 41 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 3/10
- Playthroughs: 1
- Time to Platinum: 35 hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles
The platinum here leans towards steady progression and resource management, with only a handful of skill-based challenges. If you love atmospheric games with a unique twist, this is one of this month’s most interesting picks.
Still Wakes the Deep (PS5)
A narrative horror from The Chinese Room set on an oil rig in the middle of a violent storm. It’s claustrophobic, moody, and packed with tension — perfect for those who like atmospheric scares without combat-heavy gameplay.
- Trophies: 60 (1 Platinum, 5 Gold, 5 Silver, 49 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 3/10
- Playthroughs: 2
- Time to Platinum: 10 hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles
Expect mostly story-driven trophies with a few collectibles and chapter-specific challenges. Nothing too punishing, it’s more about immersing yourself in the dread. Be warned though, you will need a second playthrough to get a couple of trophies, one that requires you not to run for more than 10 minutes total , and one that requires that you play the game in Scottish Gaelic. If that’s a language you speak, brilliant, go for it in your first run. If not, enjoy the story first and replay for this one, else you’ll be following the story in the same way I follow IKEA instructions: with confidence, zero comprehension, and mild panic.
Insurgency: Sandstorm (PS5 | PS4)
Tactical FPS combat with realistic weapons, gritty encounters, and co-op or competitive play. It’s intense, strategic, and excellent if you enjoy grounded military shooters.
- Trophies: 31 (1 Platinum, 6 Gold, 10 Silver, 14 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 5/10
- Playthroughs: 1
- Time to Platinum: 25 hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles
The platinum is on the tougher side thanks to online requirements, skill-based challenges, and some grindy progression. Definitely one for FPS fans looking to commit.
Thank Goodness You’re Here! (PS5)
A bizarre, joyful, wonderfully silly British comedy adventure inspired by Northern humour. It’s short, colourful, and absolutely chaotic in all the right ways.
- Trophies: 33 (1 Platinum, 5 Gold, 7 Silver, 20 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 2/10
- Playthroughs: 2
- Time to Platinum: 4 hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles
A second playthrough is nesscery for this one but not too time-consuming. Expect an easy, exploration-focused trophy list. Perfect palate cleanser after something heavier.
The Talos Principle II (PS5)
A philosophical sci-fi puzzle game with gorgeous environments and brain-twisting logic challenges. If you like games that make you think deeply — both mechanically and thematically — this is one of the month’s standout additions.
- Trophies: 69 (1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 10 Silver, 57 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 3/10
- Playthroughs: 1
- Time to Platinum: 30 hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles
This is a puzzle-heavy game with lots of missables so it’s highly reccommended that you follow a guide if you’re looking to get this platinum.
Monster Jam Showdown (PS5 | PS4)
Monster trucks, arcade racing, stunts, arenas, and lots of mud. It’s loud, silly, and great fun if you enjoy arcade racers.
- Trophies: 51 (1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 10 Silver, 38 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 3/10
- Playthroughs: 1
- Time to Platinum: 15-20 hours
I couldn’t find a guide for this one but the platinum seems reasonably approachable; event wins, stunt challenges, and completing career progress. A fun, light entry for this month.
MotoGP 25 (PS5 | PS4)
The latest entry in the long-running motorcycle sim series. Fast, technical, and rewarding if you love mastering the racing line.
- Trophies: 51 (1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 10 Silver, 38 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 4/10
- Playthroughs: 1
- Time to Platinum: 15-20 hours
Platinum Guide: NODEGamers
Milestone racing games tend to have solid but demanding trophy lists, with career progression, bike upgrades, and time trials. A commitment, but satisfying if you enjoy the genre.
PlayStation Plus Premium
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS5 | PS4 )
This updated release features improved visuals, modern controls, and cleaner performance on both PS4 and PS5, a great way to revisit one of Lara’s most beloved early adventures.
- Trophies: 42 (1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 17 Silver, 22 Bronze)
- Difficulty: 5/10
- Playthroughs: 2
- Time to Platinum: 25 hours
Platinum Guide: PSNProfiles

Not the easiest of trophy lists, you will have to complete the game on the hardest difficulty setting and get through some tough time trials. Game-wise, expect a blend of classic Tomb Raider puzzle-solving, platforming, and relic/artefact hunting.
Final Thoughts & Recommendations
